TODAY'S REFLECTION - SATURDAY, 7TH WEEK OF EASTER
St. Peter Celestine V, Pope Confessor
Acts 28:16-20,30-31/ Psalm 10:5-6,8- John 21:20-25
THE JOY OF A HAPPY END
Beloved, any conclusion can be a prelude to something more in God's plans. St. Paul is at his final destination on earth, Rome. He was allowed to stay in lodgings of his own with the soldier who guarded him (Acts 28:16). He has fought a good fight to the end. His missionary journeys and all that he did for Christ's sake were not in vain. What about me and what about you?
Friends, Jesus did many things, which, if all were written down, the world itself, I suppose, would not hold all books. (John 21:25). The Catholic Church believes in the Word of God and Tradition. This tells us that, every aspect of what we do and say cannot be written down. It is only God who is All-knowing. It is also clear that, God's nature/goodness is infinite, eternal and can never be exhausted. Let us pray for the grace to remain steadfast in doing what is good until the end. BE BLESSED.
